Beth Yu is a hair and makeup artist whose practice spans editorial, commercial, avant-garde, and experimental image-making. Her work is driven by intuitive creation and visual experimentation, with a focus on challenging conventional beauty norms and traditional ways of creating. With experience across editorial and commercial shoots, short films, and runway shows, Beth brings both creativity and adaptability to her practice. She is detail-oriented, conceptually curious, and able to think outside the box, using hair and makeup as tools to communicate ideas and build visual narratives. Beth aims to continue developing within fashion, beauty, and editorial image-making, with aspirations to work with brands and publications such as Prada, Dazed, and PAP Magazine. In the future, she hopes to establish her own agency and creative platform where creatives can come together without boundaries.
